Intensive,
inspiring and fun - summerjamsis a 2-week, 3
hours a day, Monday -
Friday rehearsal and
performance program resulting in a
rock or jazz concert at
a local
all-ages venue. We provide the expert staff, sound system, mic,
amps,
keyboards and
drums.
Musicians just need to bring their instrument or drumsticks
with a notebook and a pen or pencil.
Most musicians must
be enrolled in weekly private music lessons, however exceptions
will be made on a
case-by-case basis for advanced musicians not currently in private
lessons.

summerjam fee
is $300 per session for the full 30-hour,
10-day program and concert.
Musicians can
register for multiple summerjam sessions at a
discount. Additional afternoon sessions may be added if these
fill-up.
Concerts are free the public and hosted by Mo's Grille, 358
S West Temple, SLC. Full restaurant menu.

Terence
Hansen - Rock Concerts Terence is a sublime guitarist
and singer whose
commitment to excellence in teaching and performance is eveident in
verything that he does. Terence is among the best rock guitarists
in Utah and has taught most of the others at his level since he was 17.
Terence's 'dualing guitars' show in which he play two guitars at once
and sings has been wowing audiences in the US and Europe for years.
Terence staged more than 20 youth concerts with Steve Auerbach
from 2005-2008. Terence can play almost any style of
guitar and has mastered several in his continuing journey with
the instrument that he loves.

John Flanders -
Jazz Concerts John is a multiple award-winning saxophone
and
woodwind player (saxes,
flute, clarinet, bass clarinet), composer, producer, recording artist,
bandleader and session player. John has performed with The
Temptations, Billy Preston, Solomon Burke, Wayne Newton, Frankie
Avalon, Alex Acuna, and many others. John's groups have
played main stage at the Park City International Jazz Festival and
headlined at other jazz festivals in in the west. John has
taught at
the elementary, middle, secondary and university level on jazz music

Executive Director Steve is an award-winning music
producer, educator,
concert producer,
musician and record producer. Steve has
taught individual and group music lessons to hundreds of students,
directed hundreds of youth
concerts and designed
curricula and taught students from age 6 to university-level. Steve is

Creative Software sponsored producer, Yamaha FM Synthesis Clinican
and has been working with youth for over 20
